Qualifications for membership include:

• Employees of a registered Insurance brokers and the entire insurance industry
• Must be over 18 years of age
• Should not have been convicted of a criminal offence involving fraud or dishonesty
• Must have completed membership application form and approved by appropriate committee
•  Must have paid Kshs. 1000/= registration fee
• Must be able to contribute minimum monthly deposit, presently Kshs 1,000/-

Current status:

• Membership of the SACCO is at 400 and still growing
• Share capital slightly over Kshs 20 million
• Average monthly collections at Kshs 1,300,000/-
• Growth rates of 2009 Vs 2011Membership 21%,

2. Loans 19%
